All but the Education and Individualized Study options require a Program Management course. Course assignments are designed to allow each student to apply concepts to the population(s) and setting(s) of his/her particular interest.
In addition to the above coursework students interested in Administration take courses in Quality Management, Financial Management and a 3 credit clinical elective.
Students selecting the Care Management option take additional coursework and clinical practicum in either the care of community-based children/adolescents or community-based adults/elders.
The Individualized Study option allows a student to work closely with an advisor to select coursework that meets individual career goals that other options may not match. For instance, community-based mental health would include Psych/mental health courses.
